Obituary of Guido Ticco

Ticco, Guido Peacefully surrounded by family at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, November 18, 2018, Guido Ticco at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Connie Ticco (1986) and Phyllis Ticco. Loving father of Angela (Frank), Lidia (Frank), Romina (Mike) and his step sons Timothy (Alice) Abrams and Tyler (Heather) Abrams. Cherished nonno of Alexandra (Bryan), Gabriel, Sydney, Ryder, River, Lily, Nolan, Maya, Graydon and Teagan. Dear brother of Carla, the late Mario, the late Gino, the late Tina, and the late Ada. Dear brother-in-law of Leigh (Phyllis), Lois (the late Robert), Catherine (the late Bruce), and the late Ken (Brenda). Greatly loved uncle of Mario and Robert (Becky). Guido will be sadly missed by the Ticco, Serratore, Kuehr, Fotia, De Candido, Gargarella and Abrams families in Canada and Italy. He was a very proud master tailor and best friend of Dan Hasson, and together they dressed the elite of London for over 40 years. A special and heartfelt thank you to all the nurses at Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care for their excellent care and compassion. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care or to St. Joseph's Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
