Robert Joseph Bailey (1959 - 2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, grand uncle, and friend, Robert Joseph Bailey, affectionately known as Bob, who peacefully departed this world on Monday, March 25, 2024, in London, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 65.

Bob was born on February 20, 1959, in Montreal, Quebec, to his loving parents, William and Phillis Bailey. After graduating from Catholic Central High School in London, Ontario, Bob proudly served his country as a Leading Seaman in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1976 to 1990 and from 1995 to 2000. He also served in the 22nd service battalion as a master. Following his military service, Bob dedicated many years to the Commissionaires Office of London, Ontario. Reserve 22 service battalion

In retirement, Bob cherished spending time with his adoring family, indulging in trips to his favorite destination, Las Vegas, and spreading joy to all those he encountered. His warm smile and generous spirit touched the lives of many.

Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Corrine Mary Elizabeth Rivest, his mother, Phillis Minota Bailey, and his father, William James Bailey. He is survived by his brother, William James Bailey, his sister, Marie Yvonne Stout (Bruce), and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, April 1 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 o'clock.  Cremation to follow

Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in our hearts forever.

May he rest in eternal peace.
