My condolences to his family and friends. I wasn't sure of this was the Bob Bailey I knew from St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School... until I watched the Memorial video... I'd recognize that smile anywhere... I remember him as an easy going guy that was very well liked and had a good sense of humour. RIP Bob. I'm sure there were many lives you touched following the years I knew you.

I was so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Deepest condolences to the immediate family. Sympathy to Bob’s friends and extended family.Viewing the memorial tribute triggered memories of my cousin when we lived in Oromocto, N.B. and Soest, Germany when we were all much younger. I witnessed how his generosity and loving spirit touched so many people and the importance of being a member of the Canadian Armed Forces played in his life during service and in retirement. May you find strength in each other during these especially difficult days and eventually peace in keeping Bob’s memories present in your daily lives.
❤️ Yolande (cousin) and Paul Boiteau

My condolences to all of Bob's family. I didn't hear of Bob's passing until this morning when going through yhe 22 London Service Battalion Facebook page. It was quite a shock for sure. I am currently in Chatham so couldn't attend the visitation or the service but I did watch the online service which just concluded a few minutes ago. I knew Bob quite well back in the late 70's and early 80's while seving with the 22nd SVC BN and also knew his parents as they were friends with my parents, ( Maj. Pat Austin and Joyce Austin). Bob even came for a visit when I lived in Edmonton in 1982. I remember Bob as being a fun loving guy who always participated in mess functions and parties. Bob will definitely be missed by many of his military comrades.

Bob was a kind, chipper, nice neighbour. Always greeted everyone with a smile and a bit of a chat. He will be very, very missed.
