I was searching the obits for a cousin who passed away on March 3 and was so surprised to see this obituary...if Sister taught at Mount St Joseph in 1957 and 58 than ...she taught me ...phys Ed . I was a boarder and graduated in 1958.. My name then was Sharon Sweeney. .plus l am now living in Tilbury Ont ...and often visit Merlin Ont ..St Patrick’s Church and shrine . l am a parishioner at St Francis Xavier parish in Tilbury for the past 10 ;yrs but prior lived in London and worked at London Life for 38 yrs retiring in 1998...Sister is only 7 yrs older than I..strange as my teacher she seemed older...not in looks..wise...Mother Julia was our superior, Sister Grace our principal, Sister Baptist’s, history teacher , Sister Mary Margaret ,singing, I look back fondly on those years and am so thankful for the opportunities they brought...and lessons taught,...long time friends made... Thank you Sister Assumpta for your part in my life’s journey..Rest in Peace...Sharon Sims
