Obituary of Sarah Louise Jackson

JACKSON-PROCTOR, Sarah On Tuesday morning, April 7 2020, Sarah Jackson-Proctor passed away at LHSC Victoria Hospital at the age of 40, with her loving husband Joe at her side. Sarah enjoyed teaching, family gatherings and a passion for cooking and catering meals for family and friends. Her dogs “the boys”, Burton and Hurley were constant companions whom she nurtured with great affection. Sarah loved boating, barbecuing and spending time with Joe playing with her two nieces. Sarah is survived by her parents Ruth and Al Jackson of Tilbury, aunt Louise Jackson of Shelburne, Nova Scotia. As well as extended family Peter and Betty Ann Proctor, Anngela (Proctor) her husband Sandy Rush, nieces Audrey and Emily Rush of Toronto, Ted Proctor and Michelle Tong of Vancouver. Sarah leaves behind a large circle of friends,aunts, uncles and cousins. Sarah underwent health challenges over the years, however she approached her illnesses with perseverance, courage and humour. Due to COVID-19 precautions a celebration of Sarah's life will be held when circumstances permit. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home)
