Peacefully passed away at Matthews House Hospice on Saturday, October 12th 2019 at 3:25 p.m. Monique Van Marwyk (Dumont) at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Johann Van Marwyk for 51 years. Loving mother of Alina Van Marwyk (Michael Morton) and Paul Van Marwyk (Holly Reeves-Van Marwyk). Cherished Oma of Oliver and Hunter Morton and Zoe Van Marwyk. Dear sister of the late Mariette (the late Normand Cartier), Réal (Jeannine Houle), Louisette (the late Jean-Guy Côte), the late Raymond (Carole Gagnon), Gisèle (Alide Massé), Claude (Marie Michelle Vallée), Denise (Fernand St-Amant), Céline (Réjean Chamberland), Diane and Lucie (Denis Vinet). Aunt Monique will be fondly remembered by her "favourite" niece Ineke Andersen (Robert), their son Andrew Goodall (Jessie) and by her many nieces, nephews and extended family in Quebec. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and most beloved fur baby Chloe. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Tuesday, October 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Wednesday, October 16th at 10 a.m. Cremation with inurnment at St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society Canada or to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
