Obituary of Stanley Joseph Krasnicki

Krasnicki, Stanley Peacefully at LHSC – University Hospital on October 4, 2019 at the age of 89. Loving father of Deborah, Frank, Joe (Catherine), Lee Ann and Laura. Proud Gramps of Dan (Chantal), Ryan, Kourtney (Craig), Amanda, Zac, Tara, Adam and Tyler and great Gramps to Charley, Luca, Devondre, Jacori, Zariah and Emma. Stepfather to Stan, Debra (Paul), Don (Deb), Dean (Linka) and the late Rick, their children and grandchildren. Survived by his brother Ed (Donna) Krasnicki, sister-in-law Merle Krasnicki of Victoria, BC and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Shirley Krasnicki, siblings Stella (John) Halberda and John Krasnicki, and nephew Michael Krasnicki. Stan worked at Universal Engineering for over 3 decades and was very respected in the tool and die industry. He was a fishing enthusiast, avid gardener and self-proclaimed movie critic. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, October 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street, on Wednesday, October 9 at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery with reception to follow.
