Obituary of Yolanda Pantaleo

Pantaleo, Yolanda (nee Sorrenti) November 26, 1936-October 3, 2019 Peacefully with her loving husband Giovanni of 42 years by her side on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 Yolanda Pantaleo (nee Sorrenti) passed away at Parkwood Hospital. Born in Curinga, Italy. Loving mother of Cettina, Dominic and Sam. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni Sorrenti and Concetta De Summa. Predeceased by her siblings Gloria Canacari (Domenico), Bettina Iannino, Mike Sorrenti, Sam Sorrenti (Joyce). Survived by her sister Lucy D'Ascanio (Nick) and brother in law Joe Iannino, sister in law Mary Alice Sorrenti. Survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. She will be fondly remembered by the Pantaleo family in Italy. Yolanda was a dedicated employee of Northern Telecom for over 30 years. She was a proud member of the Marconi Club of London. A special thank you to Dr. C. Foulds, Dr. B. Achtar, nurses and staff at Parkwood Palliative Care Unit. Your compassion and caring will always be remembered. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street on Sunday, October 6th, from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday, October 7th at 11 o'clock. Prayers Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or London Regional Cancer Program, C/o LHSC Foundation would be appreciated.
