Obituary of Russell Walter Culp

CULP, RUSSELL WALTER Passed away peacefully at Dearness Home, surrounded by his loving family, in London on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Norene (nee Smith); cherished father of Janice Harrison and Steven and Joanne Culp; loving grandpa of Ashley Culp (Charles), Evan Culp, and Kathryn Harrison. Predeceased by parents James and Elizabeth Culp, and sisters Marjorie, Evelyn, Marie, Marilyn and brother Jim. Proud great grandpa to Edward and Lillian McLatchey. Sadly missed by brothers-in-law Bill Smith (Vivian), and Gary Smith (Betty). Russ will be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends, and by many members of the London Police Department. Russ was a 30-year member of London City Police, ending his career in 1986 as Detective Staff Sergeant of Break and Enter. Family will receive relatives and friends at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, in London, Ontario, on Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 11:30 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
