Capitano Catherine (Kay)

Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Village of Glendale Crossing on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 Catherine (Kay) Capitano in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Capitano. Loving mother of Vittorio (Denise), Catherine (Doug) Quick, Bernie (the late Rowena), Philip (Debbie), Rita (the late Les) Rose, Trish Andrew, Theresa (Tim Aspden), John (Cathy), Don (Sharon) and Susan (Scott) Fletcher. She will be sadly missed by her 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and by her extended family and dear friends. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Kay was a 75+ year member of the St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica CWL. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Village Of Glendale Crossing especially the Lambeth neighbourhood and Dr. Andrew Whynot for their compassion and excellent care of our mother. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Private family interment in St. Peter's Cemetery following a reception. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
