Taylor, Rita (nee Steffler) At her residence in London, on Friday, May 10th, 2019 Rita Ann Taylor in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John James (Jack) Taylor. Loving mother of Mary Ann Grotheer (John), Jacquie Taylor (Ross) and Debbie Langford (Carl). Her grandchildren, Stephen, Kevin (Iris), Wesley (Tara), Patrick (Erin), Kendra (Dave) and Jessica could have not asked for a better Grandma. She lovingly welcomed her great grandchildren Hannah, Lucas, Kelly, Kyla, Tulia, Emma, Wesley and Abigail. Dear sister of Gerald and predeceased by her brothers Jerome, Wilfred, Lloyd, and Don. Rita opened her heart and home to all, especially her many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Rita was a long time member of St. Patrick’s Church CWL. She loved gardening, sewing, knitting and baking her butter tarts, pies, sausage rolls and Christmas cakes for her family. She was simply a kind and beautiful lady. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o`clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick`s Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, London on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter`s Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 o’clock. Donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
