Obituary of Francesco Caruso

Caruso, Francesco "Frank" It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Caruso announce his passing on March 12th, 2019, at University Hospital in London, Ontario in his 85th year. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Nancy of 58 years, his children Jenny (Mark), Gianfranco (Charlene) and Joseph, and grandchildren Abbigail, Samantha, Jason, Tyler, Vanessa, Brittany, Natalie and Janelle. Frank is also fondly remembered by his sister Rosina Serratore, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Cannitello, Italy he moved to Canada in 1954. Frank took great pride in his profession as a chef working at many respected establishments such as the Holiday Inn, The Great West, and Regina Mundi College to name a few. His passions included his family, gardening, wine making and socializing with his many friends. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, March 21st from 6 – 8 pm with a prayer service at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday, March 22nd at 11am. A private interment will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Participation House would be appreciated.
