I am deeply saddened to learn that Crazy Ed has left us.
I worked with him in Sarnia at an upscale really fun restaurant. And of course Ed..was so talented and so much fun...lost track mom him after that brief time...but he always stayed in my heart.
He had a way about him,and my husband ,myself and the entire staff just loved him.
I will always remember him and his good heart and devilish smile.
Rest In Peace my friend prayers to your friends and family.
You were one of a kind ❤

Ed Hell ,was a person whom I met at a crazy time of my life ,and this man was able to help me understand what was going on in my life at the time and truly cared about me. Wow! Someone to listen to me ,and to put me first. We had a realationship wth each other that was back and forth, not take and walk away. I thought about this man every day for the past 15 years ,the last time we chilled was in Montreal, him and his girl came to the restaurant I was working at, had dinner and had to leave. We spoke a few years after about life things and struggles and that was it. I new he strugged with pain and day to day things . "(you re a Hack,"! He told me once a chef trying to be , and I was like fuck that I'm more than that, but really a Hack was a chef without all the bullshit. I still will put my mise an place ,(,putting things in place )on the back of a ciggerett pack anyday . I will forever remember the great man he was ,and never forget his place on earth. Love you Ed Hell! Rest in peace.

For the past decade I had the pleasure of knowing Eddie within the firearm community. He was an absolute awesome person to talk with and someone I looked forward to seeing every time I went to Shooter's Choice. He will forever be missed and I wish to give my condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear of Ed's passing. My heart goes out to his family. If i can say one thing about him from back in the day before everyone's lives moved in different directions, he was truly genuine.

Ed was my best friend and roommate during the 1980s. We attended art school together and in 1987 we moved to Victoria with just a few hundred dollars each a couple of back packs. Ed returned back East after a few years but I have always held such fond memories of those adventurous and formative years. Sadly I lost touch with him in those pre-internet days and was never able to re-connect. My condolences to his family. Ed was at his core a good man with a kind heart.

3 years ago, I walked into SC for the first time as a newbie still waiting for my PAL to arrive in the Mail. I remember Eddie was so very friendly and patient with me. I didn't get a chance to get to know him personally, but the memory of how comfortable he made me feel in my first purchase stands out in my mind. RIP

It was with great shock and sadness I learned of Eddy's passing. To say that he will be missed is an incredible understatement. My condolences go to his family and friends. Amongst us, his Waterloo friends and colleagues, there is a great hole where Eddy was. He had a big heart, a great sense of humour... He was the best
