Obituary of Jeannette Lillian LaRocque

LaRocque, Jeannette At McCormick Home on Monday, February 4, 2019 Jeannette LaRocque, formerly of Port Stanley, in her 86th year. Special aunt of Gerry (Marg) LaRocque and Mary-Ellen (Rick) Gaskin. Survived by her sister-in-law Betty LaRocque. Predeceased by her 8 siblings Gord LaRocque, Marie Miller, Queenie Miller, Yvonne Smith, Joseph LaRocque, Corinne Estey, Bonnie Leo and Rita Giles and their spouses. Jeannette will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and Port Stanley friends. Following Jeannette's retirement from 3M she was active in the Port Stanley Community, St. Joseph's Church in Port Stanley and was instrumental in starting the Port Stanley Gardeners. The family would like to thank the staff of McCormick Home for their care of Jeannette. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, February 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, on Tuesday afternoon, February 12th at 1 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre or the National Catholic Broadcasting Council would be appreciated.
