Dear Charlene,
I am very sorry I couldn''t attend Rose's funeral today. I had to work a double until 9 pm tonight. You know how I felt about your grandmother and how much I loved her. I would have tried to get in the funeral home very early had I known the funeral was today. I didn't learn that until two ladies who attended told me tonight. You have my deepest sympathy and hugs.
