Obituary of Carmela Harmsworth

Carmela "Carmen" Harmsworth At St. Joseph's Hospice on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 with her family at her side, Carmela "Carmen" Harmsworth in her 86th year lost her battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Emmanuel "Sunny" Harmsworth. Dear Mother of Evelyn Rowles (Ken Lee), Dolores Harmsworth, Melita Cronin (Wayne) and Thomas Emmanuel Harmsworth. Loving Nanna of Brenda (Mike), Jennifer (Pierre-Carl), Melissa, Danielle (Andrew), Christopher and Kyle (Michelle). Great-Nanna of Joshua, Brieann, Raiden and Celeste. Dear sister of Josie Catania (Fred), Tony Pace and sister-in-law of Mary Pace (late Lawrence) and Catherine Harmsworth (late Roger). Predeceased by Margaret DeFelice (Zarenu), Mary (Edward) Psaila and Teresa Pace. The Family would like to thank everyone at University Hospital Palliative care and all Nurses, PSWs and Volunteers at St. Joseph's Hospice for all of their compassion, care and support of both our Mother as well as our family. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, Ontario., on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 345 Lyle Street on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, Prayers Sunday afternoon at 4:45pm. As per Carmen's wishes, the family requests memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to St. Joseph's Hospice.
