Young, Arthur “Bud” Surrounded by his loving family at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Monday, July 16th, 2018. Arthur William Clifford “Bud” Young, in his 82nd year. Devoted husband and best friend for 53 years to Mary Young (Prisciak). Proud father of Stephanie (Alan Drouillard), Christopher (Ann), Michael (Shelley), and Allison (Michael Evans). Beloved Grandfather of Charlotte (Steve) and Liam, Vannessa, Brianna, and Erica, and Adam and Luke. Supportive former father-in-law to Kate Thompson. Adored by furry grandchild Remi. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Anne Young, and brother Barry. Dear brother of Dianne, Ross, Victor, Rosemary and Heather. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bud retired from Labatt Breweries after 23 years in Sales and Marketing. During that time he made many friends in the London and surrounding area hospitality industry. A true artist at heart, Bud was a talented painter and wood carver focusing on nature and wildlife from which he gained so much enjoyment. He was an avid reader and life long student of history. A man of deep faith, Bud was always concerned about and generous towards those in need. A true champion of the underdog, Bud lived his life following Jesus’ message as stated in John 13:34-35 “Just as I have loved you, you are to love one another”. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at LHSC Respiratory Unit for their excellent care and effort. Cremation has taken place. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, at King Street, on Monday, July 23rd from 6 - 9 o’clock. Prayers Monday evening at 8:00 o’clock. Funeral mass will be held at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West on Tuesday morning, July 24th at 11 o’clock. Luncheon to follow. Donations can be made to the Lung Association and St. Vincent De Paul Society. ‘Now you can breathe easy and sleep well, Lovee.’ ~ Mary
