Obituary of Rose Marie Sheculski

It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Sheculski announces her passing after a sudden illness, on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of the late Brian Sheculski.  Marie will be lovingly remembered by her son Chris (Carolyn). Marie will also be fondly remembered by her granddaughters, Emily and Julia.  Loving sister of, Diane Stamp-Bender (Eric) of London, and Gordon Hetherington (Lori) of Calgary, sister-in-law of Wayne Sheculski (Theresa) of Hamilton.  She was a loving aunt to Shane, Chris, Jeff, Sam, Lynn and Sabrina.  Marie was predeceased by her mother Joan Hetherington, father Gordon Hetherington, mother-in-law Cora Sheculski, father-in-law Rudolph Sheculski, and sister-in-law Corinne Sheculski.  She will also be missed by cousins, good friends and her cat Olly.

Marie was a volunteer with several organizations over the course of her life.  She willingly gave her time with the Midnight Masters Charity Golf Tournament, Labatt 24hr Relay, London Rubber Ducky Race, London City Press Club, and Army Navy Air Force Club #229.  Marie was the happy face that many met in the process of renewing parking permits as a long time employee of Canada Wide Parking and later Impark.  She will be missed by these organizations that she served. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the ICU staff at LHSC – University Hospital for the compassionate care they provided to Marie and the family.

Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, August 7th at 7 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m. A private family interment at Woodland Cemetery will be held at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
