At Chartwell London Long Term Care Residence, 2000 Blackwater Road London, Ontario on Monday April 30, 2018,  Lambert Henry Schurmans (Bert) in his 85th year.  Beloved husband of Velma Jean for over 60 years.  Loving father of Mitch (Karn) Schurmans of London, Lori Anne (Danny) Atfield of London, Glenn (Anna) Schurmans of Thamesford Ontario and Donna Schurmans (Leonard Kehler) of Strathmore, Alberta.  Proud grandpa of Rob, Chris, Jamie, Talena, Griffin, Nathan, Ben, Zack, Joel and Maggie.  Dear brother of John (Cecile) Schuurmans of London, Gerard (Mary) Schuurmans of London and Betty (the late Tom) Magee of Kitchener.  Predeceased by his brother Peter Schuurmans (1964) and his brother Morris Schuurmans (2014).  Cremation has taken place.  The family held a private service this past Saturday May 5, 2018.  The family would like to extend a very heart-felt thanks to the nurses and staff of Chartwell London who exhibited exemplary care and compassion to our father and our entire family during this very difficult time.
