Dear John and Family,
It hurt me deeply to hear that your beloved Sue has passed. Many were the mornings at the "Y" when we joked about everything and anything. Sue used to take her self lightly in spite of all the increasing medical difficulties she had. She was my HERO when it came to spirit and carrying on with life- no matter what.
We loved the socks she gave us all at Xmas time at Chair Yoga. We cherished the chocolates she handed out almost every week, what a gal!
So so so sad to hear that she is not with you, her beloved family anymore at least in the planet.
From all her stories, I could gather that you are a wonderful bunch of human beings and that the loved flowed freely amongst all of you.
I pray for you to find comfort within each other and in the good memories you have of Sue.
May her memory be blessed.
Love,
Adela

Dear John, Dylan and family
I have adopted Sue as my grand-mother from the Y. She came to my very first race and offered me support and encouragement during my training along with my races over the years. She spoke very highly of John's and Dylan's races along with Dylan's accomplishements and her mother who lives nearby.
She was the strongest and most positive person.
Once, another Y-mate said: "if she is here I have no excuse not be here. I have no excuse to complain about life. She never complains." Everyday on that elliptical she taught me perseverance and determination. I woke up every morning knowing I will see Sue. She was a pure example of happiness and strength. I still see her big smile and waving as she walks by with her superman S on her shirt.
She will forever be our Super Sue.
My sincere condolences to you all. We've lost Sue and yet we've gained from her appreciation of life.
Regards
Jessy

Dear John & Dylan & Roberta,
I was so blessed to have Sue in my life. I knew her from the "Y" for many years. I started the Diaper Bank of London 3 years ago & Sue & her MOM, Bobby were so generous in donating so that I could buy diapers for 10 Agencies with families in need over that time period. I met her every Saturday with her Mom at the Covenant Garden Market. She was always up despite her own issues!!
6 months ago I was found to have Metastatic Ovarian Cancer. Sue was THERE! She was my mentor to be positive despite the trial. She celebrated with me when the CT's came back negative recently. I only wish I had more time to bless her as she has blessed me.
She was generous with her life to many.
She loved all of you so much. Tales from Thunder Bay made her so happy!
I will miss her more than words can say. Big Hug for both of you & her MOM

I am so very saddened to hear of Sue’s passing and wish to express my deepest sympathy to John, Dylan, Roberta (Sue’s mother) and her entire family. I think everyone who knew Sue became her friend. She was thoughtful, kind, always thinking of the other person. Her sense of humour always had people in stitches laughing at her remarks. She loved, appreciated, and was so proud of her family, often talking about Dylan’s and John’s accomplishments, and about her mother. Above all, in recent years, facing adversity, she was a true inspiration to all who knew her – a role model for all of us. I will miss our many chats at the Y, seeing Sue on the weight machines, and in chair yoga, and drinking her coffee! I’ll also miss seeing Sue at the mall with her mother and chatting with both of them. Sue brought happiness to us all. She also reminded us to live life to the fullest, and to be grateful for our good health. She always “got up, dressed up, showed up, and never, ever gave up.” Farewell, dear Sue. Rest in peace, and thank you so much for your friendship.
