Aunt Evie was beautiful in so many ways. We were in awe of her boundless love, unfailing optimism, and constant zest for life. Even in December she told us that she was sad to be sick because she had so much living yet to do.
Evie was the essence of a life well lived, a true inspiration. We will miss her stories of her many life endeavours and joyful experiences. We will especially miss her memories of "The Matton Boys", and the trouble they would get up to, and the great fun they had. Evie was beyond proud of Elaine and Joanne. She adored them, and thought they were the smartest and most amazing people ever! We will miss and remember Aunt Evie with so much love, and we will always be grateful for the treasure that she was in our lives.
