Obituary of Geraldine Anne Deane

DEANE, Gerrie – Unexpectedly at her residence on December 22, 2017 in her 72nd year. Loving daughter of Phyllis and the late Jack Deane (2000), and sister of Kenneth (Karen) and Donald Deane. Gerrie was a registered nurse having graduated from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing (Peterborough) in 1967 and started her nursing career at the new Scarborough Centenary Hospital in Scarborough. Gerrie returned to London and worked at St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s Hospitals. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing at the University of Western Ontario. Gerrie is fondly remembered by her aunts and cousins. A family funeral has taken place with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. (John T. Donohue Funeral Home)
