Dear Meeks family,
My memories of Karl are many. He taught be some of my most important lessons in funeral service. He once told me to treat all people we serve like they were your grandparents and if you accomplished that, you would have no problems. A lesson I have passed on to many young funeral directors since. He also suggested that wearing your belt buckle slightly to the right was functional and fashionable. He was a good man and I will always appreciate the time I got to spend with him at Donohues.
