PERSANO, Michele "Mike" – Passed away after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital, peacefully surrounded by his family, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Flavia. Cherished father of Lisa Valerio (Mike), Tina Warner (Neil) and Tommy (Molly). Treasured Nonno of Pasquale, Mary, Gabriella, Kyle and Makayla. Special brother of Maria Trovato (late Domenico) and Isabella Dedato (Tony). Dear cousin of Michele and Assunta Persano. Brother-in-law of Domenic Callipari (late Concettina). Dear friend of Domenic and Annamaria Dedato. Loved by his many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Victoria Hospital 7th Floor. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday evening at 8:15. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated.
