Obituary of Audrey Ann Picard
PICARD, AUDREY ANN
Audrey, 86, of London passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, November 4th, 2017. Cherished wife of the late Norman Picard (2006). Proud mother of Deborah Desforges and her husband Roger, Gregory Picard and his wife Sarah and Catherine April Reid and her husband John. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Sontrop, Laura Sontrop, Peter Demakos, Michael Picard, Austin Picard, Sarah Jurjevich, Scott Jurjevich and great grandmother of Miia and Kieran Bricker. Survived by her brother, Norman Walker, 92 and predeceased by her sister Ruth Price. Audrey enjoyed a very full life, traveled to many beautiful destinations and enjoyed volunteering at Museum London for many years as well as helping out at Public Health and University Hospital. Above all, Audrey was most proud of her family and would be the first to praise and encourage. She went through life on her own terms, stood tall at 5' foot 2'' and made her presence known. Audrey will be deeply missed by those she has left behind but is now surrounded by the loves she lost so many years ago. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday November 8th from 7-9 pm.
As per the wishes of our mother, a full high mass will be given on Thursday November 9th, 10 am at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London. For those who wish to attend, the family will be greeting guests at the church starting at 9 am. A private family interment will commence thereafter. Donations can be made to St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica; the church our mother loved most.
