Obituary of Dorothy Ruth Kennerley

KENNERLEY, Dorothy Ruth - It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our mother's passing. On August 31, 2017, at University Hospital, London, Ontario, Dorothy passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by husband Giulio Cappiello (Dec. 8, 2013). Survived by her three children Lucia (Lucy) Cappiello (Neil St-Denis), Julia Karakaya (nee Cappiello) (Mahmut Karakaya), and Tommaso (Tom) Cappiello (Rachel Woon). Dorothy also leaves behind her three grandchildren, whom she adored: Maya and Atilla Karakaya and Arlo St-Denis. They already miss their grandmother very much. Dorothy was the cherished daughter of Sybil Kedziora (nee Anderson) and Gordon Kennerley. She is survived by her brother David and his wife Gail and her nephews Andrew and John, and her brother John. Beloved niece of Erma, Ross, Frank, and Ruth-Ann, and many cousins and extended family here and abroad. She will also be profoundly missed by many friends. Memorial visitation will take place at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. at King St., London, Ont., on Monday, September 4th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
