Obituary of Andrea Foslett
June 2, 1940 – August 26, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Andrea Foslett (nee DeCoste) announce her sudden passing on Saturday August 26, 2017 at the age of 77. She was surrounded by her loving husband and family as she passed away peacefully. Andrea is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Ron of 55 years. Dear mother of Robert (David), John (Pauline), Brad (Kavita). She was a loving and caring Gramma to 5 grandchildren, Serina, Nico, Tyler, Anton and Owen. Also survived by her brother Richard (Peggy) from Nova Scotia and predeceased by brothers, Jean (1972) and Collin (1994). Also loved and remembered by many family and friends. Andrea came to London from Nova Scotia in 1961 to start her nursing career. She worked for over 40 years as a RPN. She met Ron at a dance and they continued to enjoy dances together at the Legion. She was a longtime member of the C.W.L. (Catholic Women’s League). She was a devoted sports mom/gramma and never missed a hockey or baseball game. She loved watching her grandkids play sports and was an enthusiastic fan. Andrea regularly golfed at the Tillsonview Fairway Golf Course. She also was an avid reader, and loved to bake, watch sports, travel, make puzzles and have lunch dates with her friends. Special thanks to the E.R. nurses at Victoria Hospital as well as the team at C.C.T.U., Dr. Foo Cui, nurses Vikky, Michelle E., Maylan and Angela. Visitation will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday, August 29 from 6 until 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, 377 Oakland Ave, London. In lieu of flowers, please forward your donations to the Sisters of the Precious Blood or of the charity of your choice.
