Obituary of Barbara Lorraine Laskey

Laskey, Barbara, Lorraine May 16, 1959, I married an angel, Barbara L. Moore. As we walked the church aisle together, her Lord gave her a beautiful set of wings to encompass and protect our love. “I know this is true, I could feel them”. During the next few years my angel gave birth to four sons Patrick, Michael, Peter and Timothy those wings were spread out and surrounded them with security and affection. There was still room for me. “I know this is true, I could feel them”. In November 2009, my angel was diagnosed with early onset dementia these beautiful wings and their feathers were plucked one at a time, memory, balance etc. When the last feather was removed, she left us and went to heaven, Barb has her wings back now. “I know this is true, I can feel them”. C. Ron Laskey We are saddened to say that Barbara passed away peacefully at her home on July 26, 2017 at the age of 77. Our family will receive visitors at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday July 28, 2017 from 7-9 o’clock and Saturday morning, July 29, 2017 from 9 o’clock, until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
