Obituary of Walter Andrew Oakley

Suddenly at home on Sunday, July 9, 2017, Walter Oakley at the age of 74. Loving husband of Nancy (nee Quimby) for 49 years. Dear father of Kevin and Derek (Christine). Cherished papa of Grace and Connor. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, sisters and their families. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Mary Oakley as well as his sister Diane and brother-in-law Mike. Survived by his mother-in-law Daisy Quimby and the entire Quimby family. Visitors will be received at JOHN T. DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, where the funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated.
