Obituary of Edward William Christie

Christie, Edward William "Teddy" At LHSC - University Hospital surrounded by his family, Edward William Christie passed away on January 14, 2017 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Iris Constance Christie (2008). Predeceased by his parents Charles (2000) and Olive (1984), and brothers Robert (2007) and Peter (2010). Step-father to Dallas Dorie (Angela), Lynn Hull (Bryan) and Paul Dore (Kate). Best grandpa to Ryan Manzato (Chandra), Randee Axford (Ben), Taylor Dore, Dallas Dore, Jade Dorie and McKenzie Dorie. Great grandpa to Ashtin Manzato, Ayden Manzato and Esme Murdoch. Special uncle to Tim Christie along with other nieces and nephews. Best friend of many years to Gary Carew and the late Isabel Carew. Proud and dedicated employee of CP Rail from 1956 till retirement in 1992. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday morning, January 17th from 10-11 o'clock. Funeral Mass will follow at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, at 11:30. Interment of ashes in Longwoods Cemetery in Melbourne, Ontario will take place at a later date. Donations to the London Health Sciences Centre c/o LHSF would be appreciated.
