Obituary of John Hattayer

Hattayer, John With great sadness the family announce the passing of John Hattayer at the age of 80 on January 4, 2017. Beloved husband for over 65 years of Margit (Mary) Hattayer. Loving father of Mary Kearley, John (Jean), Tibor, Joe (Kathy-Jo) and Ildiko (Mike) Inglis and father in law of Jim, Sandra and Christine. Proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Dear brother of Ilona Zigo and Edit (Balint) Tolnai in Hungary. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, January 6th from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock. Prayers will be held at 6:30pm. John was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Community, his Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic community c/o St. Patrick's Church would be appreciated.
