Dear Julie,
I am shocked and so sorry to learn of Frank's passing. I only met him once very briefly when he had recently moved to Toronto and you asked me whether there were any available apartments in my building. I had arranged to meet him in the lobby to introduce him to our building superintendent and when he arrived I saw right away what a smiling and friendly person he was. Of course he got the apartment ! I never ran into him very much after that initial meeting and eventually I moved away, but the memory of the that warm smile is what comes to mind now. It is so sad to hear that he has left us.
My sincere condolences to you, your mom, and brother Joe, Frank's wife and children, as well as to his entire extended family.
