Obituary of Ruth Lorine Wallace
WALLACE, Ruth Lorine (Brazil)
Peacefully at University Hospital on October 23rd, 2106, at the age of 94
after a brief illness. Born in Brantford, Ontario, Ruth was the daughter
of Ivan Brazil and Mary Cooper Brazil and sister of Margaret Dutton and
William Brazil . Ruth graduated from nursing school in 1948 when she met
the love of her life Cam Wallace who passed away in 2000. Ruth was the
proud mother of Kathy (Y.S. Yoong) of Ottawa, Ian (Debi), and David
(Kristi Ferguson) of London and Jane Wallace (Clinton Webb) of Williams
Lake, BC. Cherished 'Nana' to Cameron, Madeline, Alex and Natalie Wallace
and Kiah and Jesse Wallace-Webb. Ruth travelled the world with Cam,
enjoying winters in Abaco, Bahamas and summers in Bayfield always together
with her family. She loved playing bridge and croquet with her wide group
of friends. The family appreciates recent assistance from Amica London and
Brenda Hudson of Extended Families. Those wishing may donate to the Dr.
Cameron Wallace Graduate Student Award in Pathology which is administered
by Foundation Western at www.westernconnect.ca/tribute . Cremation has taken
place. Friends are invited to a celebration of Ruth's life at Windemere
Manor, 200 Collip Circle, London on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2 -4
