Travaglione, Giovanni At LHSC University Hospital on Sunday, September 25, 2016 Giovanni Travaglione in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 67 years of Anna (DePierro) Travaglione. Loving father of Tina Ruberto (Nicola), Anna Mitoraj (Julian) and Bruno Travaglione. Predeceased by his son Gino Travaglione( 1989). Loving Nonno of Pasquale (Melissa), John (Julie), Adam (late Maria), Ella (Maciek) Michalski, Jonathon, and Dominic. Loving Bis Nonno of Alyssa, Massimo, Sophia, GianLuca, Stella, Noah, Maelle, and Maksym. Dear brother of Elvira Balzeramo in Bagnara, Italy and the late Americo Travaglione of Stratford. Giovanni was born in Bagnara Province of Benevento Italy on June 24, 1922, married his wife Anna in 1949 after returning from being a war prisioner of seven years. They immigrated to Canada in 1954 Giovanni, Anna and their daughter Tina. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, September 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
