Vecchio, Giovanni Peacefully with family at London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital on Friday, July 15, 2016, Giovanni Vecchio in his 91st year. Predeceased by his loving wife Candida (2013) of more than 60 years. Loving father of Tony Vecchio and his wife Franca, Mary Racine and her husband Mike and Angelo Vecchio and his wife Norina. Cherished Nonno of Angela (Andrew), Vanessa (Mike), John (Jennifer), Michael (Andress), Jessica (John), Heather (Jason) and John. Great Nonno of Adrian, Abigail, Olivia, Alexander, Kaylee, Alice, Benjamin, Stella and Ethan. Dear brother of Antonio (Carmela d) Vecchio of Italy. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni Batista and Antoinetta, his sister Maria Vecchio and his brothers and sisters in law Antonio Imonti (Rosina) and Maria Fortese (Ludovico). Zio John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery to follow. Prayers Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. Donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
