Obituary of John Vincent O'Neill

O'Neill, John V. Passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016, John V. O'Neill, age 58. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Joan, his sister Pat and brother Stephen. John is forever remembered with love and affection by his wife Oonagh (Murphy) and his "girls" - whom he adored - Siobhan (Mike Palleschi) and Sarah (Justin Tomasi) O'Neill. John was born in Armagh, Ireland and moved to Canada in 1985, always remaining connected to his treasured siblings, his twin brother Dennis O'Neill (Marie), his sisters Marie Pagan (Keith) and Julie Shah. The Murphy family, along with John's nieces, nephews, cousins and friends cherish many fond memories. We all miss him dearly, a beautiful human being gone too soon. A beautiful human being who was the ultimate soccer dad, caregiver, creative talent, storyteller, avid soccer and tennis fan and community volunteer. That's the John we will gather to celebrate and remember during visitation at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm (prayers at 7pm). Funeral Mass will be held at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, on Tuesday, May 31 at 10am. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, Siobhan and Sarah, invite you to donate to either Bereaved Families of Ontario or the Alzheimer's Society.
