Suddenly at LHSC-Victoria Hospital on Sunday, May 1st, 2016 with his wife by his side, Brian Barrett at the age of 71. Loving husband of Nancy (nee Sears) for 47 years. Survived by his sister Gail (Robert) Barrett-Bonneau. Dear brother-in-law to Allan (Ann) Sears, Joanne Skuse-Fitzpatrick, Robert Sears (Paul Vickers). He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and colleagues. Brian was a dedicated educational professional for 16 years as a secondary teacher and administrator with the Baldwin Cartier School Commission in Montreal. He then moved to London and taught at both CCH and JPII and was president of OECTA for a total of 16 years. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Friday 12 noon. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
