Obituary of Zachary Joseph Barbosa

Barbosa, Zachary Joseph. It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing on March 7, 2016 in his 31st year. Loving husband of Carmen Barbosa. Devoted father of Vieanna Rosa Barbosa. Son to Edward and Ana Barbosa. Son in-law to Joe and Rosa Turquassio. Grandson to Maria Barbosa, predeceased by his grandparents Jorge and Maria De Melo and Antonio Barbosa. Brother to Matthew (Susan) and Kathleen Barbosa. Brother in-law to Louie (Carla), Frank and Tony (Toula) Turquassio. Greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, too many to name, but all important in his life. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Thursday March 10, 2016 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday March 11, 2016 from 2 - 4 p.m and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Parish, 10 Elm Street, on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Zachary touched the lives of everyone he met. Although he is gone too soon, his fearless dedication to the people he loved will stay in our hearts forever. We are all richer for having known Zachary and will cherish the memories we have of him always.
