Obituary of Carl Lloyd Garfield Wilson
Carl Wilson at LHSC University Hospital, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Carolyn (Gelinas) Wilson for 58 years. Loving father of the late Mark Wilson (2006) and his wife Dawn, Sean and his partner Billi Beierling, Scott and his partner Nicole Morley, Andrea and her husband Ryan Haight. Grandchildren Josh and Ben Wilson, Madeline Wilson and Austin Rogers, Noah and Lucas Wilson, Nathan and Olivia Haight.
Dear brother of Judy and her husband, Pete Sandford, and brother in law of Mary Fran (Ed) Damaren, Joe Gelinas (late Carolle), Bill (Kathy) Geilinas, Anne (late John) O’Neill, Gloria (Terry) Fenn, late Peter Gelinas, David (Marie) Gelinas, Tom (Patti) Gelinas, Leo (Cathy) Gelinas, Cathay Bardawill (late Jim), Jane (Patrick) Bedard, Brenda (Gary) Koehler, and Beth Risi (late Paul Lovett). Uncle Carl will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. May all family, friends and colleagues who were near and dear to him find peace and comfort in the memory of Carl’s life.
Although Carl and his family are longtime parishioners of Mary Immaculate Church, due to construction, Carl’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, December 2 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, on Tuesday, December 3 at 11:00 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to St. Joe’s Cafe.
