Dear Anne Marie, Diane, Christine, Tony, Kathy, Rob & families,
I am so sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. She was a wonderful, kind and fun loving person. Her sense of humour was one of a kind. I will always remember how welcoming her and Tony were to Norm and I when we moved to Windsor from Saskatchewan as new pharmacy graduates to join Big V many years ago.
May she rest in peace
Love and Hugs,
Sharon Puhl

Joanne and Tony and my husband Jim met at a church meeting early in our married lives and became great friends. We had many family adventures and then retiree’s adventures. As old age and infirmities came we were deprived of actual visits but Tony and Joanne were often in our thoughts. Find Jim when you get to Heaven and I will join you when God decides that it is my turn.

To the Crncich children and families
Our parents, Bob and Loretta Lefave, and all us Lefave kids as well, had the utmost respect and love for both your dad and your dear mom. It was truly a gift to be in any one of their company. They were both sincere, compassionate and fun loving. You knew when your mom was in a room just by her laugh…she always had a smile on her face and made time for everyone. Our hearts break for all of you for the loss of your dear mom and grandma. We know however that you all take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her dear husband.
Our sincere condolences to all of you

To my Crncich cousins. We are so sorry to hear that your mom has passed. Aunt Joanne was always loving, caring and welcoming to us. Her humor and down to earth demeanor always made us feel comfortable. Plenty of fun memories from my childhood through to adulthood. We truly loved her and knew she loved us as well. Can't ask for anything more! Take care.
All our love Art and Sue Potvin and family.

Dear Crncich kids....I am so sorry for your loss, I was saddened when Rob share the news with me on Saturday. Your mom was always so kind and always had a smile on her face. I distinctly remember her laugh/cackle, like I heard it a few moments ago. Both your parents were such good friends to Bob and Charlotte, and I know they always treasured their time spent with them.
I remember going sailing on the Crusader many times with them, going to Canada's Wonderland in an RV and trips to Paint Lake, plus many weekend nights either on 10 Mile Road or in Birr, and always having a good time.
I hope your mother rests in peace; I'm sure Tony Sr. already has her in a bridge game above.
Sincerest condolences
Dave and Michelle

Aunt Joanne as she was known to us Dyer kids was always the life of the party. Funny, beautiful, kind. And compassionate. I remember all those years of celebrating Christmas together. Joanne would prepare brunch and my mom would make Christmas dinner. They’d haul all 10 kids from house to house. Those were wonderful memories. Rest well Aunt Joanne. You are once again with your beloved Tony.

I was lucky enough to meet Joanne through Diane and Deb, and I was honoured to join Joanne’s care team for a few years.
I am just one of a million people who loved Joanne, but she had such a big impact on me. She brought so much laughter and joy into my life. Being with her gave me respite from the stress I felt in nursing school and it continued to remind me of why I wanted to be a nurse. Being invited into Joanne’s world for a brief time gave me the most wonderful “job” I’ve ever had. We had so much fun together. I would wake her up by singing broadway showtunes and gently tossing pillows at her until she started giggling under the covers and singing with me. She is the reason I’m now so into birds & love birdwatching, because we’d watch the birds come to her feeder and give them names & make up stories about them. She was so good at so many games, she had the quickest wit and gave the BEST answers when family feud was on. We loved getting dressed up for holidays and I loved doing Joanne’s hair & makeup. We spent a lot of time playing games, singing, dancing, and laughing together.
Being with her was nonstop joy for me. I loved every second of it, and I love her tremendously. I am so thankful for those memories. She made my days better and filled them with the most laughter and light. A special thank you to Diane for giving me the honour of inviting me in to be a small part of the care team. I am sending my love to the Crncich family and friends ❤️ and thank you, Joanne, for everything you’ve given me. I love you and will miss you greatly.

Erin, thanks for sharing the beautiful memories you have of our wonderful (and often hilarious) mom. You were absolutely one of those angels that brought so much joy and compassion to her every moment you spent with her. She loved that you 'got' her humour and could dish it right back to her. And I am sure told you how much she loved you too! We are so happy to hear the impact she had on you! Thank you for being an important part of her amazing care team. Love, Diane and the Crncich family

As time-to-time, time goes past, there is always someone who truly lasts.
From a little home in South-West Windsor, where times were tough but they didn’t shift her.
She had a view of a better life, for Love, for kids and to be a wife,
After chasing guys and having fun, she finally found who was the one.
It was Tony, the single child, the brilliant man, who took her hand
Together they would build a life, through children, business, trials and strife.
They travelled the world and gave to their kids, all that they ever dreamt they would.
With 60 plus years together, as parents, friends, partners and Lovers
All good things must come to an end and it was only good-byes as life-long friends.
After a fantastic life, Dad left us to be, the caregivers for Mom, that Mom always had been.
For the past 16 years Mom’s been in a fight, but there’s never a day that she would show us her plight.
She’d laugh, she’d swear, she’d sing and make noises but all the while we were her choices.
She loved her Tony, she loved her friends, she loved her kids until the end.
She’s been gone for years, searching for Dad, who has always been waiting, as the same shy lad.
Good-bye sweet Mama, Grandma, Great-Grandma and friend, we will always remember you with a smile and then, how you loved us, one and all, and how simple a life can affect us all.
We love you sooo much Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma!
Please be in peace.
With tons of Love,
All of us.
