Obituary of Joan Bertha Bidinosti

Joan Bertha Bidinosti (née Setterington) passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 in McCormick Home’s Long Term Care, London, Ontario.  Wife, mother, cookbook author, and avid curler, she would have turned 93 years old next week.  Joan was born on November 4, 1931 in Flin Flon, Manitoba to Bertha St Godard and Clifford Setterington.

A graduate of the University of Manitoba, she moved to London, Ontario in 1961 with her husband Dino for his work as a Chemistry professor at UWO. Here they raised four children, Susan, Mark, Greg, and Anita, and have six grandchildren Mia, Lorian, Emily, Sarah, David and Andrew.

Visitation Friday, November 8, 2024, from 6-9 PM at Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street.  Cremation has taken place.  A private funeral/burial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
