Obituary of Thomas Desmond Thompson

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our dad Thomas Thompson.  Tom passed peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Victoria Hospital in London at the age of 83.  Loving husband of Pauline Thompson.  Loving father of Yvonne, Charlotte (Mark) and Mary (Naji).  Loving Grandfather of Brett, Garrett, Adam, Rylee, Eli and Mya.  Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Mary Thompson, and his brothers Frank, Des, Pete and Mike.  Our dad was full of life and loved the water, boating and being with family and friends.  But most of all he was devoted to his wife Pauline, his daughters and had such love for all his grandchildren.  You will be forever missed.

Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Tom was a parishioner of Mary Immaculate Church but due to construction his Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, London on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario in memory of Tom.
