Angelo Schiavone
Peacefully surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of Fortunata for 58 years. Dear father of Maria Davis (Kris). Proud Nonno of Tyler Schembri and his wife Melissa of London. Proud Bisnonno of Georgiana and Aurora. Predeceased by his son Jack Schiavone (1987). Predeceased by his parents Giacomo and Maria (Laghezza) Schiavone of Italy. Angelo is the last of 7 siblings. Predeceased by his siblings Rosa and Benito (Grazia) of London, Guisseppe of France, Stella, Filomena, and Domenica of Italy. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Angelo spent 3 years in the Italian Navy and was very proud to have sailed The Amerigo Vespucci. He loved to share his adventures on this ship with anyone willing to listen.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Prayers at 7:00pm in the Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1251 Dundas Street, London on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00am. Entombment to follow in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street, London. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Angelo may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph's Hospice, London.
