Although a short life, Rolandy spent his life lively. He always led the dance floor at reunions, he always made people laugh with his wit and cheeky smile. He also always enjoyed the comfort of a good meal, in particular if it meant a road trip to the mandarin buffet. Most importantly, he lived his life to make those around him happy through his faith and contagious personality. Rolandy had many friends and people who adored him. The family would like to extend thanks to all those who prayed, visited, thought, cared and loved him.

Rolandy was peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at home on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the age of 63.  Husband of Luz Stella Sanchez Sanchez for 30 + years. Loving Father of Laura Alejandra, Maria Paula, Juan Pablo and Maria Jose Gonzalez Sanchez.  Proud Lito to Dalilah Alejandra Unigarro Gonzalez and Naylah Valentina Unigarro Gonzalez.   Will be missed by his siblings Amparo, Agusto, Angela, Consuelo, and Marisol and all their children.  Pre deceased by his parents Virgilio Gonzalez and Julia Pardo de Gonzalez.

May God shine onto his soul the perpetual light. Rolandy was a man of faith and the family ask support through prayers. 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis-St. Martin Church, 46 Cathcart Street, on Monday morning, August 19 at 10:30 am.
