Jean (Regina) Swick
April 11, 1931 – July 31, 2024
Surrounded by loved ones, Jean (Regina) Swick, in her 94th year, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Jean was one of 11 children. Beloved widow of Ivan Charles Swick. Jean is survived by her five children, Debbie (late Robert Taylor), Cheryl, Wendy (Gary), Charlie (Erlinda) and Kim (George) and her 12 grandchildren, Melissa (Mike), Jacquie (Scott), Kelly (Jon), Nikki (Scott), Jacob, Hannah (Cameron), Jhunar, Claribel, Ashley (Nick), Kate-Lyn (Brooke), Kaitlin and Cody (Emma), and 17 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jean was kind to everyone, no matter their journey. She spread kindness to anyone she encountered. She loved unconditionally and had a strength we all admired.
Jean will be remembered for her ability to out walk anyone, cheating her way through board games with her grandchildren (who probably didn’t know she was).
We would like to thank the amazing team at University Hospital, with a special mention of Jean’s nurse's; Chloe (emergency department), and Hannah (6th floor).

Cremation has taken place and as per her wishes, a private ceremony will be held.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 2-4pm.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Alzheimer Society.
