Obituary of Ralph Battaglini

Battaglini, Raffaele "Ralph"

Surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 Ralph Battaglini, at the age of 93 years.  Loving husband of 68 years of Nicky Battaglini.  Proud father of Simona Lorusso and her husband Vito (favourite son in law).  Cherished Nonno of Alexia, Arianna, and Michaela.  Father in heart of Christina and Gabe Mancari.  Dear brother in law of Linda (Donato) Ciccarella.  Predeceased by his sister Pierina Ongaro and her husband Bino and his in laws Christina (Alex) Ripak, Imperia (Mose) Vendramin, Flaminio (Nellla) LaVacca,  Rosa (Antonio) Batticuore and Orlando (Rosina) LaVacca. Ralph was loved deeply by his nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.  Thank you to Dr. Mario Elia for his amazing care and home visits for Ralph over the years.  Sincere thanks to the PSW's, Dawn, Alex and Mike and the Victoria Hospital 6th floor Medicine Unit for their kindness and care.  

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, February 19 from 4-7 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Tuesday, February 20 at 11 am.  Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
