Regrettably, I did not know my Aunt Carolyn as an adult. But I have very fond childhood memories of her before she moved to Ontario from Newfoundland. My father has lots of pictures of us with her and her children from our youth. I always cherish these memories and hold them in my heart. She did accomplish a lot in her life in the face of challenging circumstances, may she rest peacefully.

Aunt Carolyn was always the cool aunt. I have fond memories of taking road trips with her and babysitting my cousins. After her stroke I was fortunate to have many chats with her which she always greatly appreciated. Even though she lost a lot of her mobility she still made sure she sent me a thank you card for flowers I sent which I told her was totally unnecessary. I will miss her dearly.
