Obituary of Mary Theresa Ennis

Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023 in her 86th year. Dear daughter of the late Aurelie and William Ennis of North Bay. Survived by her brother Eugene Ennis (Yvonne), and predeceased by her siblings Frances Ennis, Helen Duquette (Rene) and William Ennis (Ethel). God Mother of Theresa Anne Douthwright. Mary is survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and very close friends Michael Rouse, Sister Valerie, Paula Mugan and Jackie Playford.

Mary spent her life doing what she loved most: teaching children in Elementary School in London, Ontario with the Catholic Board. She was always kind, caring and compassionate to all those around her.
Mary was a keen and talented artist who gifted family and friends with her works; a Bright light who will be missed by all.

Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 6 to 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 10 o’clock, visitors are welcome one hour prior. Inurnment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to Saint Vincent de Paul, London, Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
