Obituary of Dorothy Irene McGuire

Passed away peacefully at The Manor Village, London on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 84. Loving wife of Larry McGuire of 53 years. Loving mother of Maura (Joe) Haughian, Sean (Deanna) McGuire and Beth (Jason) Montesi. Cherished grandmother of Calley, Colton, Charlie, Jacob, Zack and Will. Much loved sister of Jim McCarron (Elaine), Bob McCarron (Merilyn) and Joan (Nick) Kodric. Predeceased by her parents Art and Dorothy McCarron and nephew Ronald McCarron. Dorothy will also be missed by many loving nieces and nephews, friends and nursing colleagues. Dorothy was a dedicated, compassionate nurse with a strong work ethic. She worked in many areas of heathcare but mainly spent her career caring for seniors. Above all else she was a very proud grandmother and devoted so much time and energy to her family. The family thanks the staff of Windermere on the Mount and The Manor Village for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society in Dorothy’s memory would be appreciated.  www.donohuefuneralhome.ca
