Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday March 19, 2023 in his 80th year. Predeceased by parents Jack and Isabella Riley, sister June Anne and brother Tom. George will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of George’s Life will be held on Sunday April 23, 2023 at June Rose Public School, 84 Edward Street, St. Thomas, from 1:00 to 3:30pm. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. John’s Anglican Church in Thorold, 12 Carleton Street South, Thorold, at 11:00am. Inurnment at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls at a later date. Donations made to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to John T. Donohue Funeral Home.
